Mohamed Salah Offers Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Reveals Curtis Jones
Jones has disclosed that the Egyptian forward said sorry to the group of players after the fallout from his public comments.
What Happened
Salah was left out from a European match subsequent to criticising the club and claiming his rapport with Arne Slot had deteriorated.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”
The manager has chosen not to reveal on whether he was apologised to from the 33-year-old forward.

He emphasized that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “He was the exact same Mo, he was smiling and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
Jones also noted that a competitor wanting to play is a positive trait. “I get that there are specific approaches you can go about things,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just sit out, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
Positive Results
Their results have remained strong in the games following the interview fallout. He feels the Salah's words were not designed to cause disruption.
“In moments of frustration, it’s always been from a good place,” the midfielder stated. “We’re past that now and we’re gelling well as a team, playing well and on a positive run.”
